Raffle becomes sealed bids auction!
We've had lots of enquiries about making an offer for the beautiful Densheds shed which has been Shedman's home for the Our Storeys Project. Sadly, we've had very few enquiries about Raffle tickets - so we've decided to sell Shedman's Shed by Sealed Bid Auction.
All you have to do is write your name, address and telephone number on a piece of paper together with the amount of your bid. Put your bid in a sealed envelope marked Shedman's Shed and post your envelope in the post box on the front of the shed.
Your bid will need to be more than £200, as the shed retails for £350 new. It has special strengthened security glass windows and will be dismantled and delivered to the person who makes the winning bid.
All bids must be received by 12 noon Friday 28 August. The winner will be announced at 3pm.

Shedman will be back in the shed near the Spice of Life Restaurant from Tuesday 25 August. You can come and see him with your stories, poems and pictures on Tuesday 25, Wednesday 26 and Friday 28 August. If he's not in the shed he may be in Main Reception or walking round the hospital, but you can still leave your story or poem in the letterbox on the shed door.

FREE Creative writing workshops
Know anyone who wants to get into writing? Fancy starting that novel you know you could write? Feel like you just want to express yourself. Well, come along to two free creative writing workshops with Shedman next week at the Millfield Arts Centre near North Middlesex University Hospital. The workshops will run from 7-9pm in the Aylworth Room.
Bring along some of your work to talk through with Shedman and read out to the group if you wish. Shedman will help you develop a piece of work for the Our Storeys project - creating a special artwork for the new North Middlesex University Hospital. All welcome.
Shedman (John Davies) has a great deal of experience running workshops for all ages and abilities. His welcoming and encouraging approach has helped many new writers get started and make the most of their talent.

Le hangar est arrivé! Ou... L'abri est arrivé!
The result of meticulous planning, Gallic efficiency, British grit and a lot of help from Densheds, the shed has arrived - although Shedman managed to lose it for twenty minutes when Daren from Densheds took a wrong turn. Ah, but c'est la vie and il ne fait rien.
This beautiful 8' x 6' shed will be the base for the project - and you could win it.
It's right by the Spice of Life cafe. Shedman will be in residence with Sue Ridge on Tuesday June 30th. Come and say hello!
